I am a 31 year old French expat living and working in Bangalore.
If you require some help to rent or buy a Royal Enfield in Bangalore for your next bike trip in South India it would be my pleasure to help you. Having lived here in Bangalore for the last 3 years I have a rich network of shops and mechanics. I can also provide you with local information such as road aspects, weather, addresses of nice little hotels and home stays. Feel free to contact me for more in formation.
It will be my pleasure to make your journey a pleasant and colourful one.

I am a 31 year old French expat living and working in Bangalore for almost 3 years.
I was set up my own project "BulletMyTrip".
I provide Bullet for one day or for one or two months, with all you need during the bike trip.
I can rent to you a Bullet 350cc (Royal Enfield). For the moment I'have 3 bikes free (ready for over 3000km BikeTrip).
Bike trip package will be possible in september (bike, petrol, accomodation, food) for two weeks or more. "Bike trip a la carte".

At the moment what I provide?

A Bullet in very good condition. For all the RE I rent I do a full
service on the bike (new engine oil, new clutch oil, weel allignement, cleaning carburation, ignition tunning, light control, electric controle and changing spears if require...etc) before renting them.
The bikes either come with a carry luggage or side bags (2x22liters). Depening on the amount of luggage you have, you can either opt for the carry luggage Or the smaller side bags.
Tools Kits and spears kits (clutch cable and gas cable, oil engine, spark plug, bulb, chain link, electric cable, tubeless etc, all you need in case of problem on the way)
Bike Papers(assurance, emision test, ID Bikes in order)
Indian Road Map
SIM card (like that you have one contact number in India)
Tipps about the road (good adresses, road aspect, I have some contact for verry good Guest Houses and restaurants across South India)
I can teach you how manage better the RE driving
I can show you some sights in Bangalore city (I know very well after 3 years here).
Train and bus bookings
End more if you need....

Regarding the driving licence - you do not need an Indian one but an International one would be useful.
Also I highly recommend that you get yourself an international travel assurance.
The bikes are insured against damage but you have to take
care of your own assurance.

To give you an idea of the bikes I am renting - please feel free to visit my photo gallery at:

Cheers
